1.

The school district has between 4 and 8 times the amount of money listed on he budget in bank accounts, investments, and enterprise activity. That money is listed in their Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) cafr1 (dot) com the second set of books government entities are allowed to keep. There is so much money that a fund could be set up to retire school taxed for all time. Go to taxretirement (dot) com/ for more info.
This should be very interesting to actuaries and mathematicians.

2.

It took the United States government’s Department of Justice an entire study dedicated to gun use and criminals to figure out what logical human beings have already understood for decades. The result of their own study found that gun control laws will never work because criminals will never use legal channels to obtain guns.
If the gunman go his gun legally through background checks, then gun control did not work. If the gunman got his gun illegally and avoided background checks, then gun control did not work.
These studies prove nothing more than the government’s incompetence and unnecessary intervention in the lives of everyone else. Private gun sellers did more to prevent violent crimes than the government’s own laws did. The ruling class is continuing to prove they are no longer a necessary evil. Only 1.3 percent of all prisoners obtained a gun from a retail source and used it during their offense, the DOJ’s study stated.
What is the point of disarming the population when private ownership of firearms prevents a large number of crimes. A study by criminologists Gary Kleck and Marc Gertz concluded that Americans use their guns annually to prevent more than 2 million crimes.
Those who want to ban guns use deceptive and dishonest terms such as “gun violence,” an illiterate use of language. Guns are inanimate objects like a hammer or a screwdriver. They are not capable of taking action such as committing violence. They have to be used or misused by people intent on committing violence. Therefore, there can be no such thing as “gun violence.” There can only be violence committed by people using guns or hammers or screwdrivers, or whatever.

I believe that this article is well written and makes several reasonable points. However, there are countless resources, many of them free of charge, that are available to anyone and everyone who is applying to a college. For the low income students who are excelling in their high schools, colleges will seek out those students and make them offers which would be practically impossible to refuse. For the below-average and marginal students, there is no shame in attending a local community college and gaining the requisite background/resources to navigate the complexities of college financial aid, etc. Small steps always come before big steps.

4
And the disabled have it even worse then what these students had to go through just to get into college. I never really went to high school, in my day, the learning disabled, mine, were taught the basics of the basics, as it was assumed we were too stupid, and failures, to do well in school. As far as I know, that's still the case. I managed to get my general diploma, a worthless piece of paper saying you cobbled enough credits to get into community colleges, and nothing else, don't even both with four year schools.

I am not rying to make light of what these people went through, I'm glad they made it, I never would've been able to even understand anything on these forms. I hope whatever their major in, they use it to become president, we need people like them in the White House. Just make sure the disabled get their fair shake too.

"I’m old enough to remember when presidents ran for reelection on creating jobs, not on creating chaos. But Trump is rewriting our political playbook in the blood and misery of authoritarianism. " I've had several issues with this article, but this part really sticks out. The previous president has said "those manufacturing jobs are never coming back."The U.S. has added 454,000 manufacturing jobs since Trump took office in January 2017, some of the biggest gains in twenty years, according to jobs data. Jobs and the economy have been a huge part of Trumps platform. The Democratic candidates platform has been to attack Trump, Also having people like Schiff and Swalwell wanting to continue to investigate Trump. Having Nadler send out 81 letters to Trump associates for an appearance in Congress. Doing nothing substantial for the American people, in effect , creating chaos.
